A Lifelong Passion for Art
Since my youth, visual art has been my refuge—a space where I can express my thoughts, feelings, and creativity on paper. It has always been a source of comfort, a leisure activity shared with my children, and now, it takes centre stage once again. In April 2024, I launched this new venture to showcase my latest artworks, share insights, and celebrate fellow artists that inspire me and I hope to highlight causes that I care about. I feel grateful for the endless sources of inspiration that surround us every day.
A Foundation in Design
My journey began with a successful graduation in Interior Design in 1977, where I merged my artistic creativity with an interest in design, furniture, and interior finishes. Over a decade, I cultivated my skills in the private sector, collaborating on numerous residential and commercial projects with various design firms. My experience expanded as I worked alongside suppliers, contractors, and five departments of the Government of Canada for 26 years, delivering exceptional design services and facilities management.
Embracing New Beginnings
Since retiring, I have fully re-engaged with my artwork, allowing my creativity and artistic endeavors to flourish. My life is enriched by my three Border Collies, two adult children, and my husband, who is my steadfast support. I am a yoga enthusiast, a nature lover, and a music aficionado, appreciating the warmth of life and my dreams.
